Abstract |
Officer Brad Owens is confused. He is an African American law enforcement officer in Fayetteville, NC, and because he enforces the law, the people he knows most believe he is racist. The newspaper that he reads every day has an article in it about police officers targeting African American people, although he works daily on the streets as a police officer and has never seen this. While he is working through the racial issues of his own people, he winds up breaking a plot to plant a nuclear bomb in Charlotte, NC, by using reasonable suspicion, a technique that is being argued against by his own people. Thanks to the work performed by Officer Owens, he was able to stop a terrorist plan to explode a nitrogen bomb in Charlotte, NC. |
